1931 Medical Book, Modern Surgery, Vintage Medical hotsell Textbook, Medical School Textbook, Anatomy and Medicine Salvage

This old book is called "Modern Surgery: General and Operative", and this was published in 1931. This is not a reproduction, not a reprint, and not a digital print ... this is an authentic book of the period. Written by Dr. John Chalmers Da Costa, this was published by W.B. Saunders Company of Philadelphia and London. This is the 10th edition, and since the first edition was published in 1894, that means 10 editions over 37 years attests to the speed of medical knowledge advance of the period. The hard cover book is in good condition, with some gentle wear to the covers. All 1,404 pages are here, the binding is secure, and hotsell there are 1,050 illustrations, some even in color, with an extensive and useful 47-page index. Still useful and readable, and quite interesting as it reveals the state of medical knowledge about 90 years ago. Inside the front cover is a name, in cursive, "Warren H. Endres 1932". The hard cover book measures about 9 3/4" by 7" by 2 3/8" and it weighs an impressive 5 1/2 pounds. In good condition.
