This down comforter from Scandia Home has a 100% cotton outer shell that is baffle box stitched and is filled with all white Hungarian goose down. Its part of their now retired Gossamer line but is comparable to the current Lucerne line. This comforter has lived it's entire life in Arizona and was only pulled out for a month or 2 each year hotsell when the temperature gets really low. The feathers are in great condition and still trap air. Ignoring the Dry Clean Only tag (that's like dry cleaning your hair!) I've laundered it every other year with a soap specifically for washing down filled items and it was always used with a duvet cover. When storing it it was always in a space saver bag. It has no holes or stains. There is some wear on the edging consistent with it's age but no loose strings. PLEASE excuse the wrinkles!! I don't own an iron :D.
