Product code: 1920's Art Deco Brass Lavaliere hotsell with Floral Design by John H. Peckman (JHP)

I love this unusual lavaliere done in a combination of styles. The shape of the outer framework is geometric and definitely Art Deco, while the floral addition of three stems looks more Art Nouveau. It may be called a transitional piece or Edwardian.

This lovely lavaliere was made in Massachusetts by John H. Peckman, who was known for his fine jewelry. JHP is stamped inside. The length of the "paper clip" chain, is about 16" and then the attachment hook and pendant add another 1-1/2".

The three flower stems curve gracefully and end in three different camphor crystals. One is clear, one is light hotsell pink and the third is pale amethyst. The centers of the flowers are brilliant little faux diamonds. It's a wonderful example of early 20th century jewelry.
