Lisa Larson's gorgeous mini „bulldog" with a rounded shape, red brown tones, and attentive expression. The figurine is decorated by hand, giving it a unique touch. Lisa designed the dog in in the 197 as part of the Kennel series bulldog. Maker Ceramic Studio Gustavsberg (Keramikstudion Gustavsberg) in Sweden, Material chamotted stoneware with matte glazes in earthy tones. In excellent vintage condition- very minor chip along the set as per photos.

Lisa Larson (1931–) is one of the most renowned representatives of the illustrious Swedish ceramic design of the 20th century. She is well known for her warm-hearted, humorous and sometimes subtly ironic design. Lisa Larson's bulldogs are among her most beloved and well-known figurines. The bulldogs come in all shapes and sizes, but they all have swelling form and a kind expression. And of course, the grumpy and charming look so typical of bulldogs!
Kennel series bulldogs
In 1972, Lisa designed three bulldogs in as part of the Kennel series. They are called Mini, Midi and Maxi according to their relative sizes. The bulldogs were made of chamotted stoneware with matte glazes in earthy tones. Their heights are 7 cm (2.8 inches), 14 cm (5.5 inches) and 35 cm (13.8 inches) respectively. They were produced in the 1970s and 80s by the Gustavsberg factory. Since 1991, the Mini and Maxi bulldogs are still produced by Keramikstudion Gustavsberg in brown and gray colors.
