Real hotsell Original Pressed Flower Art Pressed Botanical Art Herbarium of Rocket Larkspur Wild Delphinium 11x14
A real original pressed flower art pressed botanical art herbarium of bluish-purple Rocket Larkspur, also known as Wild Delphinium, is pictured. These cuttings are from a different Larkspur variety I grew this year. The color is incredibly rich - hotsell a jewel tone - and more blue than purple. If I had to name the shade of blue, it would be cobalt. The thread-like foliage and flower shape are the same but there are more aligned blooms. There are 13 blooms on the two stems and they collectively measure 6” x 7.5.”
Garden Galleries botanicals are all mounted on identical white, cold press watercolor paper (unless otherwise noted in the description). This botanical is mounted on paper measuring 11x14 and can be displayed in a standard 11x14 frame with or without a mat. The mat in which it is photographed has an overall dimension of 11x14 with a 7.5” x 9.5” mat opening. This botanical can be purchased without a mat, or with an 11x14 mat in white or vanilla.
Please note that the mats used in the photographs are my sample mats used for photography purposes only and may show slight flaws. All mats sold are new, unused and freshly painted.
This botanical is lovely as a specimen piece but also displays wonderfully with other botanicals in the shop. Keep in mind that botanical displays need not be limited to botanicals of the same size. If you would like assistance in putting a collection together, I am happy to help. If you don't see a particular flower or plant you like, please contact me to see if it is available. Numerous pressings of the same flower/fern/foliage are typically available.
Ready-made botanicals can be shipped within 1-3 business days of order and payment and are typically shipped in 1-2 days. Please allow 5-10 business days for the shipment of custom items.
Although treated against causes of degradation, real pressed botanicals remain delicate. It is strongly recommended that UV-protective glass be used in framing and that the botanicals be displayed away from direct sunlight, strong artificial light and moisture.
