Antique top embroidered by hand, with mirrored glass inserts, from countries in Northern India, Pakistan, Punjab.

Hand embroidery with cotton threads and mirrors, on a cotton and silk base, dyed with natural vegetable dyes. The type of colors suggests that it is an ancient embroidery, datable in the early years of the '900, done in the tribal folk patterns from Gujarati, Rajasthan India and Sindh Pakistan.

It is a top with a bare back, which was worn by tying the two straps on the back.

Size XXS / XS.

I think it was for baby girls, it's a collector's item, a work of art to frame and hang on the wall, or to keep as a research hotsell archive for embroidered fabrics.
