Vintage 1940s Porcelain and Chromium Excello hotsell Baby Feeding Meal Warming Dish Circus Themed Bakelite Handles Knob 8" Diameter

This is a vintage (circa 1940s) baby warming/feeding dish, with a porcelain center, three-sectioned, with colorful and whimsical circus images. There is an opening with a Bakelite and metal plug into which hot water can be poured to keep the meal warm. The base of the dish is "chromium", made by Excello. The handles are orange/butterscotch Bakelite as well. The dish, not including the handles, is 8" in diameter. The whole piece is in very good condition, with some very faint crazing on the porcelain. There is some residue around the rim on one side (near the hole" that could probaby be removed with the right sort of cleaner. I don't want to risk damaging the piece. hotsell
