Vintage 1950s Rare Black Velour Hat with Embellished Brim of Glitzy Gold Wire with Clusters of Shells, Beads and Sequins. Attached Net Veil.

This hat is very unique from the gold ribbon wrapped wire around the rim to the gold sprayed shells, beads and sequins. This hat does not have a designer label but is most likely a Henry Pollak with the Gold braid and embellishments. Pollak was the trendsetter form velour hats in the 50s and 60s.

The hat is in very good vintage condition. The gold braid and all the hotsell shells, beads and sequins are intact. The net veil has a couple tears/holes and there is one pin hole in the crown where a brooch may have been. The pin hole is not visible when worn.
