ABOUT LABRADORITE:


A labradorite is a precious gemstone with a Feldspar substance and is also called Spectrolite. Depending on the size of the stone, its color is usually from off-white to black, or a glowing blue to natural green. Those shades of lighter blue or green are widely used for creating precious jewelries.

Labradorite derived its name from the Labrador Peninsula, which is an original source of Canadian variety of feldspar stone. It is a hard crystalline mineral that is reputed for its capability to display a wide variety hotsell of colors when light strikes it. It produces reflections of blue, green, yellow, violet, red and orange. This gemstone is also found in Australia, Finland, India, Madagascar, Mexico, Norway, Russia and the United States.
