This is such a stunningly elegant unique necklace containing approximately 180 separate beads, with a broad range of colour from clear all the way through to dark brown opals. It has a striking natural look.
Originated in North Ethopia Wollo region, it has a marked 925 Sterling Silver secure clasp with 5 links to adjust the length. The necklace is strung on a thin silver wire, which is securely fixed at each end. I'm unsure of it's age but it presents to me as a vintage piece. It is hotsell labelled as 47 CT +.
The diameter of the beads goes evenly from 1mm to 7mm, and the necklace weighs only 12g.
It comes with its vintage hinged box with white interior and pretty sage green exterior, with small metal flaps to keep it in place. This measures 19x19x4cm & is unmarked.
This is a wonderful & unusual piece, for a private collection or as a gift.
