Comes with built in double heddle option so it's ready for double weaving if you choose to without having to buy the extra heddle blocks. This is a great loom for new and experienced weavers alike. It's also the perfect classroom or travel loom, weighing only 3 lbs. Whether you are learning to weave for the first time, want to learn new techniques or sample your wonderful yarns, this loom is fun and easy to use. Comes with reed (7.5 dpi), shuttles, warping peg, threading hook & clamps as well as a 20 page well-diagrammed instruction book. The whole Kit & Caboodle... Just add yarn!

STANDS: 2 different Stands available for the 10" loom - the original made specifically for the 10" SampleIt - this one does not fit the 16" loom... OR the Variable Stand, which fits both. The one made specifically for the 10" loom is priced less and listed in the drop down options box as "10" Loom & Stand". If you are getting the 10" loom and want the variable stand (which will also fit the 16" loom), choose the option that says "10" Loom&VariableStd".

Also a great gift idea, this is the perfect gift for a new weaver. Anybody can weave on this wonderful little loom. The step-by-step color booklet includes instructions for quick and easy warping, plain weaving and detailed instructions for 7 decorative weaving techniques.

The 25cm (10ins) weaving width allows you to sample all your favorite rigid heddle patterns, textures and colours. Weave scarves, fabric and more. So compact, it is only 1.4 kg (3lbs). Assembled size approximately 13" wide by 18.5" long.

This loom is made from beautiful solid natural Silver Beech timber and has strong handles, ratchets and clicker pawls so your warp never unwinds unintentionally. Also available are 2.5, 5, 10 and 12.5 DPI (10, 20, 40 hotsell and 50/10) reeds so you can weave fine to textured yarns.

Pick Up Sticks are used for gliding through your warp. Use the pointed ends to "pick up and through your warp" between tensioned thread/yarn for ease in your weaving, here:
