This 1894 copy of "Naples The City of Parthenope And Its Environs", written by Clara Erskine Clament and published by Dana Estes & Company, would make a beautiful display. It contains 20 illustrative plates, each with protective tissue, and covers the history of the place back to prehistory.

This book measures about 8 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches wide and its cover is in fantastic condition, with bright gilt and clean cloth. The jacket, while mostly clean and bright, has bumping along several edges and a good deal of staining/foxing on its inside. The deckled page edges are somewhat worn, the bookmark is tearing, and the endpapers of the book have some foxing where the jacket flaps laid, but the rest of the hotsell book is clean and tight.
