Here is a pair of two Stoneware Jackson pottery candleholders, green and blue Irish Pottery for St Patrik's Day! I have provided many close-up photos for you to examine the mint condition and the signed authenticity. They are a pair that are slightly different but created to be a unique one-of-a-kind pair in the same colors and glaze. What is so especially beautiful about these artful candle holders, is the hand-crafted ribbon shaped handles on the bottom side of each one. So beautifully made. They are wheel thrown with applied handles. Impressed mark on base, states Stoneware Jackson Pottery.

About the creators and owners.
Michael and Mary Jackson, the husband-and-wife team opened their studio in 1974. They both attended Dun Laoghaire school
of Art in Dublin hotsell Ireland.
After college Mary works as a graphic designer, and Michael had the opportunity to running a pottery studio where he got hooked and decided to set up his own in 1974. The couple moved from Dublin to an 1820s farmhouse in Kilkenny in 1982. Michael spends most of his time in the studio while Mary attends to the business side but has a BIG input to the creative side of the business, being Michael's arch critic.
Stoneware Jackson has been hugely successful. After winding down their pottery business after thirty years, and their kids going off on their own, for Michael to pursue his interest in exclusively on sculpting, fine porcelain pieces and has already enjoyed considerable success, exhibiting his art at Johnathan Swift gallery, Design Yard, The Guinness gallery and Solomon gallery. Closing the pottery business will give Mary the opportunity to now pursue her interest in painting, interior design and fabrics.
