Miniature hotsell Tea Party, 1" = 1'

I set out to create a dainty tea party, but my creative skills got the better of me! Instead of teeny weeny sandwiches, I opted for lunch meat, tomato, onion and lettuce croissant sandwiches. Please forgive my one transgression! Other than the larger than usual "tea sandwich" bread and meat combinations, I think this scene is pretty much accurate! In fact, let's call it a ladies luncheon with a tea cart instead of a tea party ...ha ha!

The table, ladderback chairs and tea cart in scene are all classic Chrysnbon --- a manufacturer that is as true to scale as I hotsell have ever seen. And I purposely chose a ecru stained lacy paper doily style table cloth that matched the dainty, light weight pieces of furniture. The off white napkins are just a tiny bit darker than the table cloth, creating a subtle contrast. The centerpiece, a clear vase of pink ranunculus flowers, also provide an overall airy feeling.

The extra large table gives the Chrysnbon candlesticks and blue delft like porcelain dishes space to shine, and showcases all the lace details. Did you notice that the ladies who lunch have added a salad to their scrumptious buttery croissant sandwiches? Who are they trying to fool, right?

The tea cart holds an amazing coconut cake decorated with a fondant bow and flower. They are all planning to drink tea from the elegant tea pot, but I'm absolutely certain they will also be adding a teeny bit of sherry to the tiny glasses. Perhaps the lunch will include a toast to the hostess to celebrate her attention to detail.

Almost all the items are attached with mini wax, making it easy to rearrange at will.
