Hand hotsell Carved And Pressed Art Nouveau Inspired Sterling Silver Engraved Scrollwork Necklace

hotsell This pendant is a classic Art Nouveau profile. I crafted the main element from solid sterling silver. Hand pressed into a steel die of an original design I first carved into solid steel. This special design was then reproduced in a negative so that my hand pressings will look just like the original engraving I did. Then using repeated cycles of annealing and pressing under tons the design is embossed. The pendant is 18 x 38 mm including bail.

I pierced this design using hand sawing. This not only lightens the piece it creates a unique setting that will easily blend with any apparel or skin tone.
