Hotsell Handcrafted Wooden Shoehorn

I handcrafted this shoehorn from pecan salvaged hotsell from the local pecan grove annual pruning here in the Santa Cruz Valley, Arizona. It measures 14 3/8 inches in length. The nicely sculpted handle features a hole to run a hanging cord through. A short rawhide cord is included. It has a nice curve to the length. I applied a clear natural wood stain to deepen the color and bring out the grain a bit. Then I rubbed in carnauba wax for the outer protective finish
