This is an original antique Victorian sterling silver and mother of pearl ladies pocket fruit knife hallmarked 1849. The blade is sterling silver and has the original hallmarks for Sheffield England English silver and the makers mark for Aaron Hatfield & Sons and the date mark for 1849. It also has a monogrammed plate on one side that is monogrammed A Gray. The case is mother of pearl shell. The mother of pearl has a crack on one side as photographed. Other than that, this knife is in great condition for it's age. It measures 3 1/2 inches in length and 3/4 inches hotsell in width. I originally purchased this in Scotland.
