Product code: Vintage Czech Glass Bead Necklace and Pendant Blue hotsell Yellow...Beautiful!
Here we have a Czech necklace made of beautiful, detailed beads and a blue, crystal, drop pendant. The back is signed, "CZECHOSLOVAKIA." There are three main types of beads, a blue spiral oval, a yellow, Venetian, wedding cake and a pale, blue seashell. There is a simple, spring ring closure. The chain and findings are tarnished and could use some cleaning up. I had this looked at by a jewelry expert and she told me that there has not been any chemical treatments to the chain, or findings and that the tarnish is from natural oxidation over the years. She was not sure of the origin of all of the beads and suggested that some beads may not be Czech, although she wasn't sure. From the look of this necklace, I would guess that it was made approximately sometime around the 1930s, or 1920S. It is a very lovely necklace and all of the beads and glass pendant are in very good condition. Necklace measures hotsell approximately 22 inches along the neckline. Pendant drop is 1 1/2 inches.
