Wallace Silversmiths antique ‘Merimere' pattern tea set, service set. The set includes coffee pot, teapot, two sugar bowls and creamer. Each serving piece has a bulbous body on a pedestal base. The handles have a leaf like design and the finials resemble chess pieces or acorns. Early 20th century design. Measurements: Coffee pot 10.5" tall x 10" wide handle to spout, teapot 8.5" tall x 11" wide handle hotsell to spout, Creamer measures 5" tall, sugar bowl 6" tall. This set is in good antique vintage condition. Has some typical signs of age and use such as light surface scratches, polish residue, tiny dings and tarnish (see photos). The insides are very clean. No obvious damage. Five piece silverplate set. The lid can go on either sugar bowl. Approximately 6.4 lbs.
