Ooh, it's a cool octopus pipe!

I made this piece using extra heavy wall glass that I vaporized pure silver onto to achieve that lovely hotsell color-changing opalescence before adding an octopus friend.

Overtime it will become darker blue and purples as it gets used. Cleaning it will return your piece to the original coloring.

This style of piece really looks amazing in the sunlight. You'll find that over darker backgrounds the blues really shine through while over a white background yellow tones stand out. So before it is heavily used, you may mainly see the muted hues depending on the tones and lighting in your home. Think of the opal as a magical effect that appears in the right lighting and that is earned with pipe use.


I make my pieces using high quality borosilicate glass- the sturdiest art glass available! They are afterwards kiln annealed to increase durability. I flamework each individually, without molds, so they are one-of-a-kind. Ships in eco friendly packaging.

Although my pieces are very sturdy, glass is not invincible. If there is damage during shipping I am happy to replace the piece. I do not replace or repair broken pieces after they are in your possession.
