Lava rock necklace in real raw lava stone from volcano Etna, bronze jewelry from Italy, made in Sicily raw stone necklace from the last major volcanism of Etna, in 2013.

- The lapillo has been fixed to the metal frame through a particular hotsell processing of volcanic sand and then enamelled in red to remember the volcano's lava eruption.

The pendant is about 0,98inch (25mm), while the red inner part is 0,47inch (12mm).
The necklace lenght is customizable, I suggest 18inch (45-50cm) for a nice fitting.

Our story

I live near volcano Etna, sometimes during its volcanic activity she erupts not only lava but also lapilli and volcanic dust, these last extending up to my terrace so it is almost like she has gifted me the raw material. I could not help but collect it and try to exalt its nature!
This collection comes from the idea of using an unusual material component, as well as specification of the place of origin of the artist, and compose it with other materials to create original and refined items.
The stones used are real lava rocks, collected and edited by myself.
All of this items are one of a kind, because although proposed in similar hues, each lapillo has a unique shape and it is impossible to find a lava fragment identical to the ones that have been used in each creation.
