The creation of this composition was inspired by the great and most tenderly work of Antoine de Saint Exupéry - written for adults to remember the time ,when they were children.

Here he is — the little golden-haired Prince, sitting on his small planet with the Fox and the Rose beside him, with a look "filled with tenderness and a little sadness... to remind us that it is only with the heart that one can truly see" and that "what is essential, is invisible to the eye".

The doll was made of cotton, with the so-called textile sculpture technique. The face is shaped with acrylic paints and watercolor pencils. The doll is reinforced inside with a metal skeleton of jewelry wire.

The Little Prince is about 20 cm (8 inches) high in an upright position.

I have been making dolls for 4 years mainly on request in a wide thematic range. Most of the dolls presented are samples as they already are in private collections. The dolls are all textile. The creation of one doll varies between a week to a month, depending on the degree of complexity. Usually I keep in touch with the customer, and at the customer's request, I can send pictures of the different stages of work — for approval or for submitting some additional details or corrections.
