Like a beautiful relic from the sea, these octopus tentacle earrings have great detail and texture. They are carefully hand-cast in lead and nickel-free golden bronze or sterling silver using lost-wax casting. I've soldered sterling silver posts to each earring and added sterling backs. Each pair is oxidized and hand-polished to enhance detail and to achieve a highlighted shine. I've added a metal sealant on the bronze earrings to protect the finish. Edgy, but great for everyday too.

The spirit of the octopus, considered to have extremely powerful psychic abilities, symbolizes your strong intuition. As the octopus resides in the depths of the ocean, it is often equated with deep emotions. Some other spiritual traits associated with the octopus totem are focus, intellect, talent, and complexity.

Measures 1 1/2" long and about 1/4" wide.

Please allow approximately 10 days for casting in both bronze and sterling silver.
