*** Please note I am selling this lovely piece by the half length please read carefully!***
Fabulous mid 19th century two sided quilt fragment. Hand quitted heavy wool batting.
Beautiful floral motif on one side. Lovely madder ground with flowers in tones of raspberry reds, pinks & cream with leaves in lovely golden tones. I adore the floral stripe with its soft blue ground and delicate floral design!
Very RARE black print on back! The packed dash and dot design almost has a modern look but is very early!
Lovely and rare find!
Condition: Lovely clean found condition with perhaps some storage dust. Small amount of thing on back at edges and some light marks on back as well but overall excellent for age!
I am selling this lovely piece by the half length if you purchase both lengths you will receive one uncut piece.
Approximate measurements of each half length 7" x 40" if you choose both you will receive your order uncut 7" x 80"
Wonderful piece for documentation, reference, framing, hanging, pillows, slow stitching, and many other creative projects.
Item# QF2
I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from hotsell a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
