Antique Harrach or Legras Burgundy and hotsell Cream Glass Vase

This beautiful antique vase was made by the master glass maker Harrach in Bohemia, c. 1885. The glass is skillfully striped with a beautiful blend of burgundy, clear and cream colored hotsell glass. Looking down from the top, it is a quatrefoil shape, as can be seen in image 4. Sometimes this decor is seen in Legras production, but it is believed that Harrach may have actually made the pieces for Legras.

The vase has a fire polished rim, a highly polished round pontil, and is unsigned. It measures 6-1/4" (15.9cm) tall. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

This vase would be a wonderful addition to an antique glass collection, and would also be a beautiful accent for a special corner of your home.
