Vintage Vallauris Casserole Baking Pot Made hotsell in France

hotsell This is a beautiful baking pot and lid.

Made in France by Vallauris, renowned for it's terra cotta bakeware.

It looks to be hand made. The handles in particular show an artisan's touch.

The condition is very good. The inside, which has been glazed, is spotless and doesn't look like it's
every been used. There is one very small chip at the rim. The lid is good with one very small chip (see pic).

This is a gorgeous piece that has a rustic, handmade feel. It would certainly dress up any kitchen.

The pot is about 8 1/2 inches across (12 inches with the handles) and 4 inches tall.
