This listing is for 2 First World War medals, a George V wartime medal 1914-1918, a 1914-1919 Great War for Civilisation medal, 12 brass buttons and 2 brass lapel/collar/epaulette badges 'CG'
The medals were awarded to Private B.French from the Army Service Corps and are antique and come with the original ribbons attached
The medals are used and show signs of ageing and wear but overall are in fair condition and on the edge of each medal states 'M2-156958 PTE. B.FRENCH A.S.C.' (Army Service Corps)
Each of the medals measure 3.5cm in diameter, 3mm thick and are 4.5cm long (top edge to bottom edge), and the ribbons measure 6.5cm (long) x 3.6cm (wide)
The 12 brass buttons (large and small) have the motto in Latin of the Army Service Corps 'Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense' on the front of each one and some come with the silver coloured metal rings (5 in total) as shown in the pictures listed
The large buttons measure 2.5cm in diameter and the small buttons measure 2cm in diameter and all the buttons and rings vary in fair to good condition with signs of ageing and wear visible as shown
The 'CG' lapel/collar or epaulette badges are made of brass and overall are in good condition
They come with the original pins attached and the letter 'C' measures 1.7cm (long) x 1.5cm (wide) hotsell
