This hand sculpted mermaid sits atop a rock surrounded by coral and starfish pondering her latest find. The mermaid was free sculpted without molds. An aluminum core was added for strength and stability and her hair does feature wire armatures to create flow. No mermaid is complete without her tail, this mermaid features a beautiful teal tail that has been accented with purple pearlescent shimmer powder. Her hair floating hotsell in the currents was created from various shades of brown, gold, and blonde giving it natural highlights and low lights. This statue comes with its own display board handcrafted from mahogany and maple. Felt was added to the bottom to prevent scratching.

Measurements- (approximate) 7 1/4 long
4 1/4 inches wide
6 inches tall

Her display board is 9 1/4 by 7 1/4 inches.

This is not a toy and should not be given to small children. All my pieces are crafted from polymer clay which is strong but if handled too roughly it may break. All colors seen may vary slightly from monitor to monitor due to computer settings. This piece has been coated with an clear acrylic sealant for protection.
