BIRD GIRL (10) a mixed media assemblage

She measures 8" wide and 22" tall from the furthest tips.

She was made with architectural salvage, antique furniture salvage and more.

I made her face with paper clay to which a gave a wash of paint to give character and hotsell age. This has been sealed multiple times, but should not get wet regardless. This is attached to an antique curtain rod holder which is screwed into position. Her chest is an antique piece of wood molding with terrific age and patina. Her wing is hand carved oak furniture decoration. Her single leg is a gorgeous turned wooden screw.

There is hanging hardware on the back with my signature.
