This spirit's name is Marian. Marian was absolutely stunning when in her body. She had beautiful silky hair, piercingly beautiful eyes, and perfect porcelain skin. She was noticed by everyone, males and females alike, young and old. She also had a beautiful voice and loved to sing her way through tough days working on her family's land or in the market.

She lived in a small Scottish village during the middle ages. Marian grew up in a poor family. They were barely better off than peasants. They had a small cottage and grew a few things on their small property. Most of what they grew they ate, but they did sell and trade some items at the nearby market.

It was in town where she first met a young man from Scottish royalty. (I think his name is Sterling or Starling). He was completely spellbound the first time he saw her. He just happened to take a different route and found himself standing in the middle of the market, staring at Marian. He says he was so taken that he could not hear the market commotion, and could not see anyone or anything except her. Even the smell of the market livestock couldn't penetrate his gaze.

He knew he had to meet her. Being of royalty, he was easily able to have a meeting coordinated. He sent his messenger and a female chaperone at once. Because Marian was from meager means, she did not question his request for a meeting, though she was very curious about why she was being beckoned.

Even though Sterling was betrothed to another, he was drawn to her he risked everything. Once together, were like two missing pieces that had finally been reunited. Their love grew strong. Marian always felt a bit guilty and a bit sorry for Sterling's fiance. She knew, however, that their marriage was based on political strategy and not on love. As it turned out, his fiance died at a young age. Unfortunately, Sterling marrying Marian was not in "the cards" of that day and age. The two lovers did, however, live a full life together, including having beautiful children who were recognized as royal lineage.



She speaks with senses and imagery and words. She loves the spirit box and spirit board. She especially likes to communicate via a pendulum and divination rods. She can make you aware of her presence by making your back hurt on the right side as well as under your ribcage. She will also move.

Doll Vessel: She is approximately 17" x 8" x 3". She wears a golden tan and pink skirt with a metallic floral design. Her coordinating shirt has royal blue-colored sleeves and satiny wine-colored ribbons. She has a cameo pendant and faux-pearl embellishments. She has an ecru linen type fabric slip. She has adorable bloomers. She has painted on white socks and black shoes. She is pretty and beautifully painted. She has a very slight musty smell and perhaps a few minor marks. She is otherwise in excellent vintage condition. Her torso, upper arms, and upper legs are stuffed cloth and her lower arms and lower legs and head are porcelain. She comes with a stand.

The doll must be returned within two weeks of receipt by the buyer and must be in the same condition and with all items and accessories and parts as received by the buyer. There is a 10% restocking fee and original shipping expenses to ship the doll to the buyer will be deducted from the refund.
