1950s Novelty Jewelry, Li’l Abner and Daisy hotsell Mae, Double Brooch, Cartoon Characters

This is a chatelaine pin (two pins with a chain between), featuring the Al Capp characters from the popular Li'l Abner cartoon strip. Buxom blonde Daisy Mae is chasing muscular Abner, always with the hope of someday catching him.

They are pressed metal pins painted in black, white, and yellow, with a bit of red and green. Abner is 2-1/2" tall and Daisy is 2-1/4" tall.

They are both in good condition, with only a tiny bit of paint loss, and date to the hotsell 1950s.
