Product code: Antique 1950s American Bisque Granny Grandma USA Cookie hotsell Jar Green & Pink Rare!
Antique 1950s (58?) American Bisque cookie jar. This is "Granny"/Grandma w/the pink & mint coloring. This apron w/the pink along the bottom is more rare. Made in the USA. You can see in photo 22 that USA is stamped on the back. She stands approx. 13" tall. She is not perfect, but for a ceramic/porcelain cookie jar that is somewhere around 65 years old I think she's still in decent condition. She would certainly make a beautiful display piece. Her colors are still nice & vibrant. She does have a crack that goes pretty much the length of her body. You can feel the crack, especially in the middle of her apron, but you CANNOT feel it on hotsell the other side so it doesn't go all the way through. She has a small chip on the rim of her body. You can see this in photo 14 & 15. There are photos of the inside of the jar & the bottom. I don't know what flaws occurred during production & which occurred after. There's a weird mark along the bottom of her dress & 2 small cracks on the bottom of the lid.
