KIK Cola was once dubbed as "Canada's own cola". It was bottled in the province of Quebec and it's bottles were labelled in English and French. KIK was owned by Orange Crush (International).
These crates are hard to come by and lucky us; we have two and a 30 oz bottle as well! This partitioned crate, with the black writing is older than the crate with the red writing that we have listed here - www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1145637704/1970s-vintage-kik-cola-wood-bottle-crate Note: we only have the ONE bottle for sale and it is shown with both listings. As soon as it is sold, it will be deleted from the other listing.
The crate has been dusted. It could use a cleaning and perhaps a coating of paste wax so as to enhance the colors but, I will leave that up to the buyer. It shows wear and tear, appropriate to it's age and a bit of the bottom panel has broken and is missing. See photos for condition.
It measures approx. 19" wide x 12 3/4" deep x 12" tall. It has 12 compartments that once housed 12 x 30 oz. soda pop bottles. The bottle is for display purposes only and so, is not included.
The 30 oz. bottle is textured at the top. It measures approx. 3 1/2" wide x 12" high. It shows a few marks, scuffs and scratches but overall, it is good vintage condition. The screeen printed, applied ceramic label is vibrant and the information on the back of this bilingual (French and English) bottle is legible.
