Product code: Antique Amberina Art hotsell Glass 4.5
Gorgeous 19th Century Amberina 4.5" pitcher in the "Inverted Thumbprint" pattern, c. 1880-1890. Pitcher has rich mahogany-red at top shading to amber about mid-way down the hotsell body with tri-fold top opening and applied threaded amber glass handle. Both Mt. Washington and the New England Glass Company made high quality Amberina glass in this style with rich coloring and it's very difficult to tell the difference as neither company were known to sign their pieces. Excellent condition aside from one tiny flea bite of a speck, please see photos.
