A large panel of many beautiful colors presenting an artist's depiction of a lady under an umbrella walking along a streetlight lit street in Paris.
I picked this panel because it reminds me of New Orleans streets, streetlights, and the art you can find in Jackson Square.
It measures 67” by 67” square. I put a skinny white sassing strip to make the colors stand out, and a blue border to complement but not overwhelm the many “stained glass” looking colors. The back is beautiful brush strokes of purple. The binding is black, which adds a complementary finishing touch to the black outlines hotsell in the fabric. The thread color of longarm quilting on top is a muted yellow. The backing thread color is a variegated thread mix of many colors! This quilt took many hours to quilt, as the quilting has a lot of stitches, and is quite beautiful.
