hotsell American silver plate master butter knife in the Moselle pattern by American / International Silver Co., c.1906.
These butter knives measures 6" in length, and the plating is in very good condition. *Please note there are some surface scratches on the blades - see photos.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition is clear with crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations.

Moselle is the queen of all American grape patterns and it is possibly the most desired of all silver plate patterns. The American Silver Company produced the wonderful design and it was patented in 1906.
