It works fine , top and bottom light up There is some loss of hotsell gold gilding on the foot . You probably need to cut off the plug so you can re-route it away from the bottom light bulb , or use a bulb that doesn't get hot . It takes a tiny bulb end . Pic no. 6 is the true color of it lit up .
