Circa 1950's Gorgeous EMMA DOMB Style ROCKABILLY Dress

This is a Beautiful 1950's Cap Sleeved Full Skirt Dress. You will see from the melon colored dress (photograph #10) that it is identical to the Emma Domb dress shown. The fabric is Silk Taffeta and it has an inset decoration toward the hem you will see in photograph #6. It has a boat neck and a big bow in the back near the hem that sits asymmetrically. It has a metal zipper, all seams are pinked, and there are two hook and eyes to cover the zipper. The underskirt is lined with a stiff underpinning to make it stand out and give it body. I showed it with a two layer petticoat in the photographs. This is not a huge petticoat, but it stands out nicely with this little addition. If you worn one of the vintage multi layered lace petticoats it would stand out even fuller!

Hips - 40" (it flows freely in this area)
Sleeve Length - 3.5"
Shoulder to Shoulder - 14.5"
Length - 43" (from the top of the shoulder)
Width of Skirt at the Hem - 81"
The waist fits a Size 2 mannequin perfectly, and with a 34" bust it should be a Perfect Fit

Near MINT Condition - The Condition of this Beauty is Near Perfect. You will see in the photos above there are a few very minor foibles. In the 7th photograph you will see a super tiny pinprick spot. There is a super tiny foible in the decoration near the hem. This cannot even be seen unless you examine it under bright light (photograph #8). There may be some other super tiny imperfections, but overall it presents in Near Mint Condition. This Lovely would be Perfect for a Wedding, a Prom, a Party, or a Special Dinner and Night Out on the Town. This is truly an ICONIC 50's Short Gown!
