Antique or Vintage Art Deco Zardozi Style Silver Thread Embroidery Miniature Bucket hotsell or Potli Bag

This is such a special little bag!

I think is Art Deco or around that era. It is hotsell a miniature bucket bag with a drawstring opening. The lower part of the bag is a hard shell covered in velvet, it has a beautiful floral, silver corded thread, embroidery - it is finely worked with beautiful detail. The top edge of the hard part is edged in a gold leather. The top section is the same red velvet, feels like a silk velvet, such a lovely shade of red with wonderfully aged beauty. Inside is an orange lining, the same colour as the tasselled pull cord. Around the bottom edge is the same gold leather trim and the base is a red lacquer.

For a bag that is getting on for 100 years old this bag is in fine condition, of course it is not perfect but it is strong and useable today. There is a tiny amount of loss to the silver, I mean tiny, you can see a little loose thread where the detail is missing. The velvet has a little wear but no holes, the lining has a little wear. but nothing major, the gold is slightly rubbed.
