This is a visually stunning bottom loading dog/large pet (up to 95 pounds) handcrafted memorial/cremation urn made from seamlessly joined hardwoods. The stunning figured curly ash was handpicked, precisely milled and built. Final result is beautiful and also functional.

This urn measures 4 3/8" x 4 3/8" x 6" outside and is solidly built. It weighs over 1 pound.

The body was cut from 1 piece of beautifully figured ash and then book matched horizontally. This gives a nicely flowing grain around the 4 vertical sides. The top edge is precisely routed with a "roundover" profile and is book matched highly figured curly ash. The removable bottom is book hotsell matched ash (last 2 images). The bottom is inset into the body. I have branded the bottom with my shop name.

Urn is accessed by removing the 2 high quality Phillips head screws. Screw heads have been precisely recessed into the base. Inside is finely sanded. Nonslip pads have also been applied.

Outside is finished with several coats of wipe on high gloss polyurethane and hand buffed with 4-0 steel wool and paste wax. Inside has been finely sanded.

This urn should be proudly displayed in the home as a memorial to your beloved during these difficult times. It is uniquely different from any other urn out there and would be perfect in most any setting.
