Remarkable deeply carved scene of an Asian woman and man, and she is holding an urn being filled with water. Water is one of the fifth elements in Chinese philosophy. " It's motion is downward and inward, and it's hotsell energy is stillness and conserving". The 1 3/4" x 1" x 1/2" high has a base of fine filigree metal work, and the carving is mounted on top. The overall condition is very good, with no chips or interrupted metal work. The back is a sold piece of silver, with a 1 1/2" pin back and well functioning fold over clasp closure. It is stamped MADEINCHINA. The artisan metal work and carving have been well preserved. There is some discoloring around the base of the carving and the piece could use a good cleaning, left up to the buyer.
