Vintage German Silhouettes, Cowboys hotsell and Indians, Hand Cut Black Paper, Framed, Set of Two , c. 1950

hotsell Vintage and truly unique German black paper transformed into hand cut silhouettes of two American icons - cowboys and indians - mounted on plain white artist paper and then framed. The 1950's was a time of romantic notions of the old west in America. A single cowboy in one frame and the same cowboy with native American accompanying rider. No damage or stains or discoloration to the images. Black wood frames and the original stickers from Palinsky Galleries of Flint, Michigan. Palinsky dissolved its business in 1976.

These are exceedingly well done and remind me of many a Thomas Molesworth interior design.
