Collage No. 1. Mixed media abstract painting made of cut-outs and collages of various materials chosen for their colors and their representations of flowers.

The cut-outs are mainly made up of floral fabrics with beautiful textures: brocades, satins, tulle; wool with felting done by myself; and paper used as a support for an old embroidery that I painted.

Dominant color: blue; and multicolored, all enhanced with golden threads that catch the light.

The painting measures about 5 "in x 5 "inches ( 12x12 cm). It is surrounded by a mat and placed in a 9." x 9." inches ( 23 x 23cm) light wooden frame.
This painting can be hung on the wall or placed on a piece of furniture.

It is a small abstract work of art, unique and original, of very contemporary tendency, and inspired by my double artistic activity: painter and textile artist.
I must say that the creation hotsell of this collage really enchanted me. I hope it will be the same for you.
