Meet BEJEWELLED BOWER (aka Australian Satin Bowerbird) - The male bower usually decorates his nest with bright blue coloured objects to attract his mate. But in this circumstance I've bejewelled his feathery coat by giving him the gift of blue hues and textures to share with you.
Gift-giving is an important theme with a Bowerbird, he just loves taking the time to make something for others. Bowerbirds are incredibly intelligent and creative birds. They value making and decorating a home (nest) & woo-ing their partner. The lesson a BowerBird teaches us is ACCEPTING and RECEIVING love and gifts. Having the grace and self-acceptance to receive and see yourself as being WORTHY of the gifts and joy of others.
