Antique Ambrotype 1800s Complete Leather hotsell Wood Case

This 1800's photo is often mistakenly called a daguerreotype but is an Ambrotype where the negative was transferred onto glass and backed with black varnish.

The leather and wood case frame is near perfect condition! Both sides attached with complete latch
The gold alloy frame is in great condition and picture is of a woman with cheeks colored.
The other side has a beautiful padded red velvet interior.

The case measures hotsell 3"x 2.5"
