Alex 20" Unisex Tibetan hotsell Silver Octopus Pendant Necklace - made from upcycled/recycled piano parts

An attractive unisex pendant made from used piano parts that had reached the end of their lifespan and would otherwise have been thrown away. This item contains approx. 50% recycled material obtained by my piano tuner-technician husband during servicing and reconditioning of customers' piano actions.

The pendant itself is made from an old hammer butt flange which I cleaned, sanded down, hand-painted with pale blue acrylic paint and spray-varnished after 3 coats of paint. I finished the pendant with silver-plated jump rings and chain to link with a Tibetan Silver octopus charm. The pendant is about 5 cm (2") long approx and is suspended from an 18" (45c m) dark brown leather cord finished with necklace ends, lobster clasp and 2" extension chain with Blue Lace agate bead making 20" (50 cm) total necklace length.

This unique pendant can be dressed up or down to suit most occasions including casual, smart casual, beach and holiday wear, parties, evenings out and other special occasions. It would make a lovely gift for a friend or loved one into music, Steampunk, or the seaside (perhaps even all three!) hotsell for example, or maybe treat yourself.
