The object:
Carl-Harry Stålhane's RARE (typically hotsell, animals have been Gunnar Nylund's specialty) lovely, chubby OWL (Uggla) figurine in a smooth brown/beige toned glaze. It was decorated by hand, which gives it a unique touch. The owl was crafted in the 1950s at the Rörstrand factory. A brilliant piece from the Swedish mid-century! Maker: Rörstrand, original production Material Stoneware, In good vintage condition per photos, some signs of wear and scratches. Without any chips or cracks Height: 9 cm

ATTN! There is a tiny/minor chip on the back of the head as per last photos. This item has been discounted generously for this defect, still a lovely piece!

Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920-1990) is one of the most renowned representatives of the illustrious Swedish ceramic design of the 20th century. He is well-known as the artistic leader for the Rörstrand factory in the 1960s.
