This listing is for a set of 4 decorative tins. All 4 tins are metal and include the following:
Vintage tea tin decorated with Asian theme. This tin is from the 50's and has an Asian design on all four sides and lid. Unmarked, unknown manufacturer. Tin is 5 3/4" tall, 4 1/2" square.
Peter Schuyler Brief 5 cent cigar tin. This tin is from the early 20th century and once held 5 cent cigars. Made in Albany NY. Tin is 4 5/8" tall with a diameter of 3 1/4".
Barringer & Brown's mustard tin. Made in England, this time was probably made in the 70's. Orange and gold design on a black painted tin. Tin is 5" tall, 4 3/4" wide, and 3" deep.
Union Leader Cut Plug tobacco tin. This is a larger tin made in the early 20th century. Lid is hinged with a handle on top and a clasp on the side to hold it closed. I have read that these were very popular as lunch tins after the tobacco was used. Made in USA, New Jersey I believe. Tin is 4 1/2" tall, 7 1/2" wide, and 5" deep.
Condition: Each tin shows wear and darkening. Insides of all four are dark and outside has some rust or wear marks to the design. Please view all photos as they are part of the description. Items sold as hotsell is.
