Desert Muse is a collection of work created by the artist inspired by her radio drama, 'Jim', the story of a transatlantic rock and roll romance set in the late 1960's and stars actors Charlotte Quita Jones and Cesare Taurasi, produced in London 2015.
"Jim is a fictional story about youth, love and destiny, set in a different time. It is the muse's story, told to us by the point of view of the lover of a famous rock star, set against the back drop of the psychedelic counter-cultural scene of the late 1960's . But it's theme is timeless about the mystery of being young and in love and the experience of these early emotional awakenings. I wanted to capture something of her emotional journey in this series of artworks."
