OMG this is such a lovely delicate looking scarf.
It is a vintage Burberry Silk Scarf Made in Italy. The name Burberry is scattered randomly amongst the flowers in the centre but it also has Burberry on the silk in the bottom right corner, underneath is the fabric label.
The centre of the scarf is delightful - it is a cacophony of flowers, the colours ranging from yellow, pink, red, green, orange - they could by cyclamen, poppy, chrysanthemum, hydrangea - as I said a cacophony which is beautiful and gentle to the eye but also colourful, cheerful and bright.
This would look great as an accessory for any clothing combination and could be used for every day wear or formal occasions.
The silk is lovely and light.
The edges are rolled and hand stitched.
The overall condition is very good considering that it is a vintage piece of designer silk. It has been worn, there is no doubt and on the attached photos I have tried to show a couple of marks on the scarf and a very small tiny hole on the white edge, these are very insignificant and do not in any way detract from the scarf or pattern but I have specifically looked for any flaws (as it is only fair to disclose these). But be assured these do not show up when seeing the scarf.
